Project Tag is a FREE tag program for dogs and cats in Vientiane. Our goal is to help ensure that every dog or cat can be reunited with its family if it gets lost. Tags are engraved with the name of the dog or cat and the phone number of the owner who can easily be notified if they are found.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Why Free?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Many people have asked us why we don\u2019t charge for the tags. We believe that every pet deserves the chance to be reunited with its family, regardless of whether or not their owners can afford to have tags made. While tags are relatively inexpensive, cost should never be a factor in reuniting lost pets with their families. \u00a0Donations towards the upkeep of our residents are gladly accepted but never a factor for tags.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Important for Cat Owners<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Please note that cats get caught in branches or other objects when they roam. \u00a0We strongly urge all cat owners to only use collars that are equipped with \u201cquick release\u201d clasps to ensure the safety and lives of their cats. \u00a0For more information on why your cat should only wear these collars, please read this article<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
